Let me start with the hardest one first. By far, the hardest of the 7.5 habits for me would be #4, having confidence in myself and my ability to be a lifelong learner. This is something I've struggled with for years, and even with the success I've achieved, there's always a bit of a nagging voice that nit-picks about what I could have or should have done, as well as casting doubt on whether anyone else will see any value in what I do. I know that this spends too much time getting wrapped up in what other people think, but I haven't quite figured out how to counter that automatic response yet.
For the easiest habit, it would have to be play. That one hasn't always been easy, but as I've gotten older I've realized that I *MUST* be able to express some form of humor throughout the day, or else I really get weighed down! Fortunately I have a job that gives me the freedom to have a little play time during the day. There's something about sharing my office with a bunch of dental puppets that puts a little extra zing in my day. :-)

I have struggles with #4 also. Not in being a lifelong learner, but in confidence of what I want to say to others. It is much easier to communicate if I'm with someone...even if I don't know them well.
I agree, #4 would likely be a close second for the hardest habit for me too. And sometimes 7.5 (play) is also hard for me because I think I shouldn't play until all my work is done - but there is always going to be some work that isn't done...
Hi Tracey!
I enjoyed visiting your blog today. I would agree that Play is a major learning habit. Some time ago I set myself an assignment to get a good major laugh at least once a day!
Do you get to play with your dental puppets, or was that a figurative term?
Has Fall weathercome to KC yet? Here in Tucson, AZ it is getting cooler, but I don't class 80 degree weather as "Fall".

thank you for your comments Laree, Melissa & Donna!
Donna, i just put a picture of one of the puppets on my profile (his name is Al E. Gator, Jr.). i don't get to play with them per se, but i do bring them to orientation sessions for our school's Project SPIT class (School Presentations & Instructional Teaching). sometimes just recommending one of the puppets to the group is enough to make me smile. :-)
and as for the weather...there's a definite crispness to the air, but it hasn't gotten pitifully cold...yet... :-|
This class is providing a great way to play, while we work! Yay!

Hi Tracey,
It's Kristin in Wichita! How are you? I'm glad you're taking this class. I'm having to play a little catch up this weekend--I have already procrastinated--this is a very bad habit that I must break! Anyway, good to see you here. Have fun!
